I was thinking I could do a Mono Bug-type run of Sun because this gen is starting to make it my favorite type, but for my main run of the game I would probably use Popplio, but if the Poppliomaid and friends are real, then Litten Vikavolt, Cutiefly, Salandit, and Rockruff

Cutiefly and Spookachu I'm pretty sure of. Maybe Salandit. Rowlet looks nice but I don't often like starters' final evolutions.

My top four so far are (from 1st to 4th) Pikaboo, Litten, Pikipek, and Salandit. Those guys are the most likely to get on my team. I still like about 70% of the other mons, but these ones take the cake for me.

the game will force me to keep a bird mon to use fly HM

a water type to use surf HM

and a rodent to dump every other garbage HM move on in.

So really I am left with only 3 or 4 pokemon that I can really enjoy at any given time.

thinking about this, it would be good you could access your boxes on the road.

you can already send them magically to your boxes if you catch a 7th mon with a full team. why can't the reverse happen? just carry a laptop or something.

Literally the first pokemon design from any generation that I truly dislike, unless its some sort of awkward middle stage in a 3-stage evolutionary line, or has some evolution that spins its shitty design into something awesome, there is no redeeming it.
