The fact of the matter is that people only have a few options to them.

They can either give up Pokemon because they don't like the direction it goes.
Accept the direction it goes and change their taste.
Hope that someday in the future what they like will be popular again
Or they can try and change the world to fit what they want.


The only way to change the world is just getting rid of all the people who don't fit with your world view or what you want in the world. If you're that invested in a franchise then you literally have to be willing to genocide the people making it profitable for them to not cater to your tastes.

Hell, in the end you might just be forced to kill enough people so the franchise belongs to you and you can make it whatever you want.

If you want Pokemon as a franchise that bad, that's the bare minimum you have to be willing to do and you'll either die doing, get over it, or succeed.

Gen 4 and 5 had some great new Normals, but also a bunch of shitmon. Gen 6? Everything suddenly was high quality. The Gen 7 Normals all have fantastic gimmicks and unique niches, so far. Here's hoping they have enough stats to back them up.

Huge Power is a silly pun that's lost in translation. The original name of the ability can also translate to "Mochi Power", so all three Pokemon who get it are associated with Mochi.
