It's not officially out in the UK yet, the BBC news report even explicitly says that. The game is still fully functional though if you just download it from the mirror.

How the hell does the battle system work in this game? I can't figure out any sort of strategy except to repeatedly tap my guy and try to swipe when there's a yellow border. The problem I'm running into is that I can't dodge after I've already begun an attack, so if I'm attacking when the screen turns yellow, I'm just screwed.

So I have a 388CP Haunter, and I'm getting close to evolving it into a Gengar. I've heard mixed things about evolution.

Does anyone have any evidence of the 300% multiplier on CP for evolution? Will any 388 CP pokemon always evolve into a 1,164 CP pokemon? Is it RNG? If it is always 300%, I guess it would make sense to max it out for my trainer level before I evolve it?

So I've only just touched a bit of the game- caught a zubat and drove around trying get a glimpse of some other wild pokemon. I've *heard* 20km/h is the maximum it will register. Worth noting, it is choosing some sort of interval (measuring distance traveled / time) so setting it to move a block every minute, or something like that, should work. It doesn't track fluent movement.
