Honestly, I'm pretty sure they will have mega forms (or syncro or primal reversion or whatever) that make it so that they aren't weak to those types.

The fact that BOTH of them are weak to a thing typically associated with them can't be a coincidence. It would also explain their relatively weak and rehashed signature abilities, as they aren't the "real" abilities.

My guess is that their psychic secondary typing will be swapped out with fire and dark respectively when they mega-syncro-digivolve.

Also I think it will work like Mega-Fug where it's triggered by a signature move instead of a held item doing it, since we see them in their radiant sun/full moon forms after using certain moves.
