Will folks still be playing Pokemon GO once the new Pokemon come out?

I highly doubt most GO players play mainline, so no, people will still use it if they aren't absorbed by some other fad.

My housemate who hasn't played Pokémon since RSE asked to borrow my DS and one of the new Pokémon games (I gave her Y) after playing GO for a few days. It could work.

As a quitter after sinnoh , I stopped playing because I got into other games (dota mainly), my DS became obsolete and I lost interest in the new pokémon. Still play gen 1 2 &3 now and again tho. Will probably get back ib to it if I can get a ds
