I don't really see myself gym-chasing for very long.
The reward is paltry compared to the effort invested; if you really wanted coins you'd probably save money by just buying the coins and saving on gas/travel time. But the shop stuff is overpriced anyway.
I think I'll be taking it easy on this game, I'd rather not burn out trying to keep up with 10 gyms every day.

Ok fags I just went for a walk to the neighborhood pokemon spot (pic related). Took me a moment to figure out you need to spin it to get the items. I was hoping I'd be level 5 by the time I got to the nearby gym, but I wasn't. Instead I run into an acquaintance so my plan to hang out at the park catching pokemon was derailed. I'm still a level 4.

Woke up this morning to see 5 of my gyms have been taken; I'm super excited the game is lively and quickly get ready and go out to take them back so I can get my 6 gym income...


And now suddenly I'm getting this 1hp gym problem everyone else is having. When that doesn't happen, it just kicks me out of the battle after it says "go"

This didn't happen to me for two days, why is it happening now?? What the actual fuck? This has made having fun really difficult.

Hey bros, just got to level 10. I've been battling gyms every day since the game launched, I can confirm right now that it's not worth the hassle at the moment. 10 coins per gym owned every 21 hours, but if you fail to collect the coins (due to shit servers/too busy/etc) and they take the gym from you, you get nothing. The gyms near me are too spaced out for me to keep track of 6+ gyms.

Also, how the fuck does CP work? My arcanine is about to reach the end of the progress bar and he's only at 900~ CP, did I goof? I see screenshots of 1000+ CP mons already.

Yes they are on separate accounts, it's like someone else loggint into his account on your phone, totally separate. Not sure if multi-accounts are allowed and could eventually be detected... shouldn't matter if you just want to restart I guess

So there's a theory going around on french forums which states that the locations where pokes spawn are certain GPS coordinates and that the pokes respawn every 30 to 60 minutes. There seems to be pretty substantial evidence of this on these forums (multiple people saying that they have periodic encounters with the same poke at the same place etc.). I was confused by this earlier today, but you have to train at the gym first, even if it's your own team. I suggest just getting one of your shitmons thrashed, then after the battle you can add another mon with a button on the bottom left of the screen, which should be a good mon.
