So /vp/, according to BBC Newsbeat the UK Pokemon Go release has been sadly paused, and while I know there are workarounds for this, I've also heard by doing this you may potentially be banned from the official release, is there any truth to this rumor? Cause im really looking forward to the UK release but i don't wanna take the chance if its true.

Shameless self-bump
There are plenty of people playing it here already. The version that you can download from the mirror site is identical to the release version.
Even if they do ban you, you can choose to make your account with either your Google account or your PTC account. So if one of those gets banned, simply start again with the other.
You won't get banned for installing a game, stop being a pussy, worst case scenario your avatar gets blocked but that's unlikely, i installed the apk in tunisia, and i've been playing and even though it's not officially a supported country but it's monuments are pokestops so

I thought the game was still in the beta testing phase which is why servers go down all the time, Nintendo's not ready for European traffic

Aight cheers lads, just thought better safe than sorry
People have been claiming apk installers were being banned. They're retarded, it was high server load. Why would they ban people from a free game? They would just be losing potential $$. The worst I could see happening is resetting accounts. We've only been playing a few days so big whoop.
