The pokestops? Get close enough so that the blue emblem changes, press it and a circle with a pic of the stop will show. Swipe across the circle and it will spin dropping items like eggs and pokeballs, you can do this every 5 mins I think

By walking around you'll get regular wild encounters too, but I doubt it will get more mileage out of the incense.

I did most of my catches last night just sitting on my couch. If you see "grass" in your area, should be no problem just sitting at home to catch some every little bit.

Sometimes they just pop up but being in an area with Pokestops and stuff would probably help. If you really want shit to come to you, just pop an incense.

I can farm one from my desk but still had a 149 Pidgeotto just show up while I was sitting here without an incense up.

Someone never played Pokemon R/B/Y/G

Zubat was annoying as fuck for psychics since he would ghost ray (cofuse pokemon) and then mega drain them to death. Ratata was versitile as it was a normal pokemon that could learn a variety of moves.

Apparently, you won't be able to do AR at all if your phone doesn't have a gyroscope.
If you're like me and your phone does have a gyroscope, then try disabling portrait mode on your phone(haven't tried this yet, will reply to this post if it does work).

Turn off the Augmented reality and dim your phone. I have been out all day running errands with it on and I am barely at 80%. The camera use destroys battery. I think people will be buying power banks just for this game.

Incense isn't affected by what the "Nearby" counter shows, it pulls from its own random pool of randoms from around your area. For example, I got a Growlithe and Eevee from the incense when there wasn't any in the "Nearby" section.
