A full league showing all of Ash's battle would've only really been interesting if all the trainers he battled had been established to be strong trainers prior to the league starting and if he'd brought back the old Pokemon. What they've done isn't perfect, but it ain't that terrible either.

After challenging Gyms(Ash even lost 2 times), I expected more challenging League. Kalos league feels like every trainer has 3 Zigzagoons in their team in Top32/Top 16.
