But Sejun using Pachirisu is the definition of knowing the Meta.

The most dangerous moves for that edition were single target so a redirector was needed. Amoonguss was the best one since it knew both Spore and Rage Powder, and everyone was prepared against powder, sandstorm damage and grass overall with either using MVenusaur or just using Safety Googles.

Sejun main attackers were MGyarados and Talonflame, both weak against Electric attacks, Garchomp could patch up a little the Rock Weakness, but not the other.

Pachirisu was the only "bulky" user of Follow Me that year, the others two were Furret (No redeeming qualities) and Lucario (used as an offensive Pokémon). Having access to Nuzzle (Untauntable Thunder Wave and Sash Breaker), Super Fang and Follow Me with Volt Absorb meant that Pachirisu will nullify almost every Volt Switch and Thunderbolt so his Gyarados and Talonflame were free to dish damage.

Pachirisu was the definition of a right call of the metagame.

While we're on the topic of doubles, what's a good nature for a general purpose Yveltal? I'm soft resetting for the shiny one, but still don't know if I want a pure phys/spec attacker, a mixed one with -Sp. Def nature, or a timid/jolly one. I was thinking Weakness Policy might be fun to try out, take a hit and recover it all with Oblivion Wing. Doesn't have to be specifically for VGC 2016.
