People complain about this about Diantha pretty often but a lot of people have pretty absurd outfits in these games. Even Cynthia's outfit is kind of ridiculous with the weird long top over blouse and bead things in her hair. People like Shauntal enough, Diantha is a pretty similar get-up. Just without pantyhose.

Do champion's teams ever have "synergy"? Cynthia has a better team but it's not because they work better together or anything.

She shows up at least twice as far as I can recall off the top of my head. It doesn't make any logical sense that the amount of times the champion appears would inherently translate to being better.

The reason the argument is ridiculous is simply that stuff like doesn't matter. Even if we don't physically see them outside, we get a pretty good image of what there like and what they do outside of the E4 through their and other people's dialog. It helps because they have more time to characterize them and it makes them seen more like they actually matter in the grand scheme of things when they help shut down the evil team. Both Stevan and Lance actually help fuck up the enemy teams up and as such, feel like they matter. Christ, Lance does half the work raiding the rocket hide out in G/S/C/Hg/Ss.
