Nuzlocke General

Shit man, I was wondering when this would come back. I'll start a nuzlocke tomorrow, probably BB/BB2

I don't like the idea of pokemon i get attached to dying. It makes me feel like I'd have to catch 10 of the same pokemon just in case one dies.

I'm having such a shitty time with this. I've been denied of a Metagross, Kirlia and Arcanine. Amanite and Kiwi (Girafarig) are dead. All before Vermillion.

I'd suggest a game you're familiar with. I'm playing a black 2 hack atm because it's a game I hardly have played and I want a challenge. Now if Nds for Droid would stop crashing and having this horrible framerate I could actually play it.
I'm considering just buying the best emulator it'll at least have a speed up option with a working settings menu.

Just beat Blaze Black 1, though I feel like I cheated in a way.
On my way to finally beat Alder I only had two pokemon left, my Mienshao and my Weezing. I killed Alder's Bouffolant and Braviary with my Mienshao and Mienshao died to the Braviary's flying gem Brave Bird.
Finally I just spammed 3 X sp def and 3 X def and swept the rest of alder's team.

Weezing is truly a bro pokemon.

Managed to fish up some hope. The Old Rod came in handy as I could go back to Viridian City and Pallet Town to catch these two. Delcatty may be shit and Linoone may be a slave but better to have some company. On my way to Celadon City.

BW2 nuzlock on normal difficulty failed.
Attempted the 1st gym and met Roxxane who promptly swept my team with anorith. Fug.

Is it ever a good idea to introduce someone to Pokémon through Nuzlocke? One of my friends has a meager youtube channel started up and I thought this would make it interesting. I'm completely comfortable with it, of course, but I don't think I'd want it to just be me backseat driving the playthrough. Thoughts?

I'm quite happy. I survived the darkest times and was left with one Pokemon. Now I have these guys and RoofRabbit is more useful than I'd have thought. I feel bad for underestimating Delcatty. Is this the magic of Nuzlocke?
