Post pokemon who look a lot better in 3D sprites

I still don't get why people say that about Druddigon, the pose and proportions are the fucking same, it just doesn't have the little dancing animation which I kinda liked

I shared that opinion until I went and replayed Gen5. Some of those sprite animations are fucking rough.
Scizor has his wings straight up shrink and stretch for the illusion of flapping, its backsprite looks fucking terrible. Druddigon does the robot. I really like most animations but the bad ones are really, really bad.

I'm a whore for pixels so I loved the fact that the sprites were so close, and even if the animations were bad the simple fact that they moved was such an improvement. I absolutely loved how you could see the pokémon in its entirety from the back and not just the fucking head, I have trouble playing gen 4 because of those backsprites. At least in earlier gens they have their charm, but gen 4's are just gen 3's upscaled and slightly improved, but they're way too big. God bless gen 5's battles.
