Kanto - 3/5; basic but gets things done well enough. Not much more to say. Same goes for FR/LG

Jhoto (I'm assuming not combined) - 2/5, much like Kanto but lacking in stuff so it loses a point. Unless we're talking about HG/SS, then it's 3/5

Hoenn - 5/5; great arrangement, diversity, and hidden/optional locations. Does the tropical theme really well. A little bit too much HMs, but dive is my favorite HM in the series to date. I cannot comment on OR/AS because I didn't play it, I refuse to give money to a hoenn remake without the frontier or something as good/better replacing it.

Sinnoh - 1/5; holy shit fuck the main game areas. Extremely bland areas for the most part, the only unique areas (marsh and snow) are bogged down by stopping/slowing down to a crawl. Not a 0/5 because the post game areas are legit. Horrible HM usage.

Unova - 2/5; also bland much like sinnoh but is saved by no stupid slow down shit and shitty HMs. Not a 1/5 because seasons are pretty cool.

Kalos - 4/5; I think people just clump this region as being shit only because it's gen 6. I don't like gen 6 myself, but the region is great. It has plenty of diversity and great arrangement (route 1 length aside), I enjoyed going through it. Only thing that would make it a 5/5 was more secret stuff.

Alola - ?/5; seems great to me so far on the premise that it's like Hoenn, but I can't tell for sure without playing. I predict it's at least 3/5.

Never played any gen 2 or 4 game.

Kanto(fr/lg): 3.5. Fun times
Hoenn: 4. Emerald was great. ORAS was fun.
Unova: 5. Love it. the first games were undeniably a bit barebones but the sequels remedied that.
Kalos: 2. Loved all the quality of life changes it brought. Disliked many things related to the characters, story,too easy, and nearly nonexistent postgame.

Kanto- All right? It was okay in HG/SS. It's not great, but it's not bad either. It's just "okay".

Johto- It's the comfiest region (IMO), and is probably the least advanced region. It's got lots of cool places, and it's only big problem is the odd leveling and Pokemon Distribution.

Hoenn- Hoenn was easily the hardest for me to grade, but I decided to take the original games in more than ORAS. It's got lots of good Pokemon, good music, and good towns. However, the region can get a bit dull, and Hoenn doesn't really have anything special, besides the Battle Frontier, which was not in ORAS. I feel like 2.5 is too low, but Hoenn doesn't deserve over a 3.

Sinnoh is an amazing region. (Almost) every town is memorable, and it has some of the best music, Pokemon, and characters. I really don't know any big flaws, besides DP, but Platinum really fixed them up.

Unova- I feel like the creators really spent their time on making an amazing region. Every area is memorable, and all the characters are important. It's really just a great region.

Kalos- Easily the worst region. It feels like it was just made to pander. Megas were mostly a gimmick and were only needed on about half of the ones the gave them to, even though regular evolutions would've been better. Two Mega Charizards and Mewtwos, and all the handholding made Kalos terrible. The region is dull, and almost every location is forgettable, besides Lumiose (a failed idea) and a few others. The (very few) new Pokemon are distributed terribly, and mostly found on one route at a very low chance. Characters are there for little reason, and Kalos is overall a terrible region.

Alola- Looks okay for now.
