With XY's changes I prefer just breeding, fires off more of them happy drugs in my brain than just save editing does.

What do you breed for? I inject my shit for competitive shit. I live in a small island but I have won all tournaments here and some outside and online. If I were a breedfag I couldn't get my team at time for battles, and most of the times I have to create it just some days before I have to battle someone. Also, I won't restart my game several times to get all kind of legendaries with all kind of natures and shit (not talking about turning it off/on, I'm talking about restart the save so I can capture now a jolly 5 IVs Landorus after I got an Adamant one).

You have to be stuck with a few teams and the same legends as a core while your cousin can get all the teams he has tested. VGC16 is not very bike sim friendly.

I disagree. It takes me maybe six hours of half paying attention to build an entire team from scratch, including EV training. If I buckle down and focus I can do it in four hours, but that's not easy when you have a five-year-old.
Also, in a tournament environment, you're going to be playing in a fairly defined metagame, so your core likely won't change much anyway. Admittedly, another anon here (maybe you?) mentioned legendaries with different natures being a hassle, and for those I just have my cousin injects if I REALLY need a different nature on a legend I already have. That's more out of necessity than anything, though, as restarting an entire game for one or two Pokémon is silly.

I think it's 100% fine to farm 1 shiny of your FAVOURITE ALL TIME POKEMON as long as the Shiny Version is actually good.

I play Bike Simulator 2013 when it's a breedable Pokemon. If it's a legendary I just say fuck it and get a friend to hack it to the right IVs/nature for me. If I want a specific shiny I get my friend to do that too by modifying a Pokemon I got from Bike Simulator, though I have Masuda'ed exactly 1 time for shiny Porygon to get a taste of the experience (and a shiny Klefki but that wasn't intentional).

I have like 2k eggs hatched. I always inject pokemon if I have the oportunity, there's no point in playing bicycle simulator for hours to obtain the same poke. Furthermore, if you want to have 0ivs in speed or 0 in attack you're fucked.

I don't know, man, but I think playing like that means times to waste, and getting 5 perfect legendaries with 5 saves (completing the main history each time) takes a lot of time too.
If someone breeds and plays competitive on the console that means he must get that legendary LEGALLY through all that pain.

Bullshit. We are no VGC14 anymore. Yes, it was me the other guy. And yes, a fucking nature can make the team totally different, most speed tie decide who wins. Also, not just natures, but also EV/IV spread. I have three or four different Groudon with the same nature, and then one or two with the other useful ones. Same with the other big six. I could understand you breed the others in a few hours, as I used to... two years ago, but we no longer can do that unless we don't care about winning. A lose with a team made in a few minutes isn't as painful as a lose with a team made within hours, days or even weeks.
