Nah, these guys get shat on by Lapras and Raichu and stuff like that. They don't deal with Arcanine or Heracross well either. Only reason they seemed tricky was that they were at a way higher level than anything on Victory Road.

Sinnoh had the toughest league since Cynthia cheated and Bertha had those gay hippos that won't die in one hit when I use Surf on them.

If you don't have an Ice Type or something that can learn Ice Punch, Lance can be pretty fucking troublesome since not much can take a 150 bp move or a stab Outrage (albeit special) when you're 10 levels under.

Hoenn is definitely the one to give me the most trouble, especially Emerald with the upgraded E4 teams. Drake in particular with his total of 3 pseudo legendaries always fucks my shit backwards. Also having to change the champion to Wallace because Steven was just too hard for the kiddies was great. Only E4 where I've resorted to catching a legendary to put in my team to beat them.
