They added HMs to make it feel like your pokemon were help you overcome obstacles, but it wouldn't hurt to add items that do the same thing as HMs

Just put them in a separate fucking slot. Or just give every mon an innate ability to perform certain HM functions, while relegating the actual moves to TMs.

Usually hidden powers mainly used for lack of coverage like serperior and Sylveon or to hit something for super effective 4x why ice and fire's so common

Okay, that might be going a bit far. Pika is an NFE mon. NFE mons don't get megas.

I wouldn't mind Mega Raichu but Pikachu shouldn't be allowed to break the rules just cause I like it.

I wasn't very happy with TPCi's decision to shove Pika Libre into Pokken instead of Hawlucha, either; I like Pikachu but one is enough!
