Is this a phase as well?

solgaleo and lunala got phases because theyre based off the sun and moon, and while the sun doesnt have phases in real life, where as the moon does, theres still some correlation. Magearna on the other hand, is a machine and having a "phase" wouldnt make any sense whatsoever. Not to mention that looks exactly like regular magearna but gold and red so thats not a different form. Plus thats confirmed to be her shiny form...

Magearna's red/gold coloring is probably going to just be cosmetic. Even in the trailer you posted there is a part that show its past coloring is in the process of fading away and slowly turning into its present day color.
