I caught a shiny Ralts early on in alpha sapphire, right after helping Wally catch his, couldn't believe my luck in finding a legit shiny by random chance. carried it in my team all the way to the League, evolved it into Gardevoir, used it to defeat Wally's Gallade.

basically, a lot of Flygon fans get really pissy about their statistically inferior dragon and ironically make it look bad in the process by attacking other people for liking non-Flygons
