Empoleon is alright-ish as a defogger in OU as well, and good in UU like the monkey

During Weather Wars, Venusaur was the best sun sweeper in the entire game. That said, he needed his hidden ability to do that.
Without Megas and HAs, it's definitely Infernape. Infernape single handedly ended SkarmBliss.

Fuck I loved those days. Mixed Life Orb Infernape wrecked everything. Grass Knot fucked over bulky Waters like Swampert, CC and Flamethrower for coverage, and I don't even remember the fourth move I used. I think I had Nasty Plot, if I had a chance to boost or forced a switch.

Like already said, it'd probably be Infernape, but Empoleon is pretty good as well. Nice typing (tbf Steel-anything normally makes a Pokemon better), Defog, Stealth Rocks, if only he had Roost.
