Don't particularly hate it, but gen 2 is my least favorite

I don't hate any gen, but I have a least favorite so that works
Gen 4 had a lot of good designs and plat was an amazing game
The originals are amazing but the remakes (ORAS) are kinda crappy.

You could catch Pokemon from other gens in D/P/Pt. That's literally the only good thing about those games.

Gen 2's leveling was pretty bad.

Gen 5's repel mechanics were neat

Gen 2's gym leader/E4 teams were strange and could have been a lot better (ie Morty with Misdreavus, Jasmine with Skarmory)

Gen 3 did a fantastic job revamping the box system.

Gen 5 animated sprites were low quality, some were even the gen 4 sprites with limited movement.
