I'd pay like $20 for 3 or 4 of those boxes.

Predetermined cards in the Starter Decks and they were all bought and Opened en masse when they came out. Still worth about 20-30 dollars each if you threw them up on eBay but they arent a gold mine by any means.

there's a handful of cards whose value has gone over 50 bucks and you're not gonna find them in packs like that.

Probably a shitload, really old cards are worth $10-30

Old pokemon cards aren't terribly valuable.
They are no longer tournament legal, kinda shitty, and mostly exist for nostalgia purposes.

That's why you should look at completed/sold listings to get an idea.

The base preconstructed decks go for a decent amount online. Nearly any other sealed starter deck goes for roughly the original retail price.

The exception being Legendary Collection.
