Chikorita because it's just not good even if it's kawaii. I like all the grass starters to some degree.

Fennekin because it's only barely my second least-favorite fire type. It's saying something when the furbait middle stage is the best-looking Pokemon in an evolutionary line.

Oshawott because its design is the most meh of the water starters. I like it less than Chikorita, but I still don't dislike it.

I know I have shit taste.

Turtwig because it's the one grass starter I've never used (not purposefully, just kinda happened)
Fennekin for being the ugliest final form, or Charmander for being overrated
Totodile because every water starter besides it and Froakie are my darlings, and I like Froakie slightly more

Chespin, easily the worst starter ever and don't even get me started with Chesnaught

Litten, its honestly too bland in comparison to the others

Squirtle, ive never liked the thing in more than 20 years, never will

OP here, well i haven't watched the anime and the flaws that i see on Piplup and his evos are that justo gets Metal claw as steel type move, nothing more, and the fact that he's neutral resisting fire but that in exchange of resisting a lot of types and being immune to poison is gold.

Long ago, I would have chosen Turtwig, but after my Platinum Nuzlocke, I grew really fond of it and the evolution line Even though it died on the road to Canalave City. So it saddens me to say that my choice would be my very first starter, Chikorita.

If it wasn't for Samurott, I would have killed off Piplup. I don't hate Oshawott, but his final evo was disappointing, to say the least.

I never really liked the Fire monkey :/

Chikorita, however, is my least favorite out of all the grass starters, but I don't hate it.
