Full disclosure - this team is the one I used in a semi-casual tournament my roommate set up, so the choices are partially motivated by the smogon metagame.

I still like all of 'em them. Dragalge was definitely a new choice for me, and Venusaur wasn't my favorite first gen starter initially, but they have definitely grown on me since then.

I'll take a 7/10. Ghost is my favourite type, but I have a fondness for Mawile and Crobat, so how could I resist? If I were going to replace the last two and make it a pure Ghost-type monoteam though, I'd take Froslass and Rotom to round out the team. In hindsight I don't know why I didn't use Rotom to begin with... I love the little guy.

Pachirisu is outclassed by Pikachu, especially when Pikachu evolves into Raichu, so there is no point in having it. Minus points for allowing to have a Scyther but not a Scizor on your team.
