I could actually see them making a move that somehow acts like a sunny day but it nerfs dark type attacks. Like, the move could be a Pokemon calling attention to the fight, making Pokemon more apprehensive about using dark type attacks or some shit

Close Combat's defense drops don't even matter, since most Pokemon that use it are frail anyway, or are going to switch out after using it

I'd rather get water entry hazards that do damage unless you're water, in which case it heals you so best type can be buffed even more.
