Serperior is objectively the worst-designed Grass type in the game. Tepig became the third and worst in a line of Fire/Fighting Pokemon, going from a cute pig with the promise of a cool boar to a badly designed sumo wrestler.

They are the worst starter trio in the series and will likely never be replaced as such because they fail to deliver on every level. Bad gameplay, bad designs, bad flavor, everything about them is bad. And I say that as someone who thinks gen 5 was great.
