I'm guessing it's going to evolve into a rhino beetle. These things are massive (look at it!) and it does look like a mini rhinoceros, which is cool.

These things actually exist on Oahu and are pests.

I'm just hoping that they make it Bug/Electric and not the dreaded Bug/Flying...

Second, grubs are the larvae of beetles.

My guess it becomes some sort of an electric/tazer like stag beetle. Not the first time they've remade an animal as a Pokemon more than once.

Here's hoping. Bug/electric isn't bad, but I think a bug ground beetle would be intetesting. Plus since that would give it an immunity to electric, it's Dex entry still makes a bit of sense.
