Well, considering my current Dialga team is M-Lucario, Groudon, Ninetales, and Marowak, I think I need something slightly better than that. Heatran has the raw power that I need to replace Marowak with, even if his ability might be less useful.

But really, not using M-Aero? Normal Aero clears out all those black clouds before it megas, and then removes all the blocks Heatran drops about halfway through. I guess I'll give it a try, but I can't really see it.

1. I don't see how I am cancerous, I think the anger I am attempting to vent about and share with others in my experience in the game is perfectly reasonable. You likely started earlier than I did, so I'm sure you had a larger/more powerful arsenal in potential than I do to combat these challenges.

2. I do not consider myself skill-less for that reason, just behind. I take my video games seriously. For example, I know it is not directly related, but I forced myself to keep playing Mario Kart 8 until I got three stars in every cup in every difficulty setting. 3. Yes I did post last thread, and I was the one who was having trouble beating Mewtwo. I have however overcome that issue and have moved on, to face more challenges that this game will have to offer me. You may be ahead or possibly have more skill (even though I don't think there's a whole lot of that to be shown in this game), but the reason I come to these threads is to share my discourse with others like yourself so that you may help someone like me who is behind and offer some wise advice.

Despite the powercreep, it hasn't been as favorable for us against Fairies. So while some of the other EX stages are now catchable itemless, Mega Start and/or Jirachi are still pretty much necessary to get a good catchability for Xerneas due to Mawile's slow mega speed and power. I suggest using Mega Mawile, Dialga, Aggron(to Eject the Umbreon), and Muk if you have them. Otherwise, just go with your strongest Steel and Poison types and hope for the best.

I've tried mind zap which needed to be activated basically every turn, sleep charm doesn't activate enough unless you get lucky with 4 and 5 matches, and I only have sharpedo to get rid of remaining non support icons. I can sometimes do it itemless with 0 moves but to catch or s rank seems to need an insane amount of luck.

Yeah, that's all there is in that stage. If you haven't S ranked yet, go for M+5, DD, MS and bring money for Great Balls. If you already did S ranked it, just pray to beat it itemless and be ready to throw multiple Great Balls

I remember the time I got 620. Immediately after I tried meowth again, got a 11 hit combo and killed him on the first move, as if the game was mocking me.

Then later that day I burned it and other 14k trying and failing to catch an EX stage pokemon, probably Xerneas. What this game gives it takes away with interest.

Are there any ways to increase your catch percentage as a new player? I don't have practically any of the Pokemon in the guides (or described in this thread or that matter).

Don't even bother with capturing most Pokemon early on since you can clean it up later and you are in dire need of coins at that point so any Great Ball used is money wasted on the stonewalls that are M. Mawile, M. Gengar, and M. Glalie.

You can usually gauge if a Pokemon is good or not by just looking at its attack. If it's 70+ it's something you should always be using with exceptions like if its ability is Power of 5 unless that's the only decent one with that attack, and of course any of the ---- Break moves are equally valuable on the higher BP Pokemon. Very rarely are 60 BP Pokemon worth using or raising at all.

Since you're a new player try to just focus on some of the higher BP main stages and events if you can(Dialga for example is a good one), and Expert Pokemon are always good enough to use.

Is there any friendlist for those playing on phone? I wouldn't mind some extra lifes everyday.
