It looks like it will be a bulky special attacker. If its final evolution is Water/Fairy, it would be a nice counterpart of Azumarill, who's a bulky physical attacker.

If it is, it wouldn't make much sense having the mermaid being THAT slow. I'd understand the bulk, since there have been bulky elegant pokemon before, but considering the design of it, you'd think she'd be faster, not slower. And I know, sea lions are slow, but that design might be the possible thinnest Popplio final evo. Popplio could ever have regarding its species.

Incredibly so. I've thought of the possibility of his final evo being on all fours, but who the fuck knows. It just doesn't really add up Popplio's second form poke ball being the tallest of the probable mid evos. only for him to... sudddenly shrink? Fuck if I know.

I think they look like rough sketches, not meant to be finalized designs but more likely basic ideas. The balio leaks do match a bit more, but thats because they were trying to be finalized designs, while these weren't.

We don't know the ivs or nature besides as popplio stats progressed it had high tank stats and s.atk. So it's naturally inclined to be a tank.

Most starters have 21HP at level 5 with good IVs so I guess the final evolution of Rowlet will at least get 400+ HP. I guess Popplio will have similar stats to Oshawott but with a little bit more bulk instead of attack.
