White I'd say is my favorite Pokemon game. Or I should say, the game I had most fun playing of any of them.

The fucking EXP system is perfect. I had like 20 mon on rotation throughout the game. So much fucking fun. Can't do that in any other games without tedious grinding. Plus, I like the Unova-only dex. Led me to a lot of great bros I might not have used otherwise.

Yes, it should definitely be a regular general, but let's not lose essence of the comfy vibe we started with. Too much general talk about actually playing the games, etc can be better discussed in more relevant threads.

Comfy gen is for escapist fags like myself who are looking for a breathe of fresh air with visuals of nice cozy artwork depicting lush Pokemon landscapes and practical daily life scenes coexisting among them, reading great stories of such ventures, and listening to great Pokemon tunes while talking about the Pokemon world they wished they could live in.

It's true that a lot of it gets repetitive in these comfy threads, but it's comforting for plenty who don't dabble in it as much. You guys will have to find ways to change it up somehow, not make it some dull and general discussion.

I honestly don't see these comfy threads ending well.
I personally love it a ton, but it's slowly going to become both a meme and a joke on a board like /vp/.

No, comfy threads should always be image dumps with light discussion. They should not be a place for "venting" or "circlejerks" because they would lose their essence and invite a peculiar community. There is no real point to making these threads a general anyways because they are just image dumps and not something that would require a general such as Wi-Fi activities or Showdown matches.

Comfy threads only appear every once in a while in short bursts. Don't just make a thread about reassurance and relaxation every day. People don't want to feel comfy all the time. I don't know about others but comfy threads are more of an escape to me, and those things aren't needed constantly. The beauty of comfy threads is that they are spur of the moment and as a result filled with genuineness. Not to mention there isn't nearly enough new fanart deemed "comfy" that is being produced at such a rate.
Also way to even miss the point of such threads with all those questions.
