ITT: Pokemon you forgot existed
>>26677910
pretty much every pokemon from gen2

I don't understand how anyone can say Gen 2 had the best Pokémon.
>tfw you adore all the gen 2 pokemon despite how forgettable they are
i honestly think gen 2 was really cute and organic and i wish the same design philosophy and aesthetic carried over to the later games
>>26677910
>>26677910
I didn't know about him until 2012
>>26678197
completely understandable. It's on like one trainer in Sinnoh and Burmy is a Honey Tree Pokemon, which nobody wants to bother with.
>>26677910
tfw total nerd who knows all the Pokémon by heart
Actually probably Cherubi and Cherrim, those are super forgettable other than their gimmick. I would also forget Quagsire if I didn't hate it with a burning passion.
>>26678072
WTF? Stantler is gen 2? I thought it was gen 5!
>>26677910
i only remember this thing because i caught a shiny one in a heartgold run recently.
took me completely off guard, too.
>>26678228
>I would also forget Quagsire if I didn't run into 10 of them every goddamn minute in Mt. Silver past the first cave

>Shuckle
Checkmate, anon!

Goldeen.

God this thing is an ugly motherfucker. What were they thinking? It's one of the few pokemon designs I actually hate. It looks like it has the mumps as well as a stuffy nose. It's "tail" looks like its ass was painfully inflated. It's just unpleasant to look at.

>>26678547
wasn't this a vp meme in like 2013 or something
Went ahead and marked exactly how awful Gen 2 was for memory.
>>26678841
Side note: I'd swear up and down Gligar wasn't gen 2. There's no way. This is some alternate-realities-crossing-over shit. Gen 4 is the only reason I know it exists.

The only part I disagree with is the fact that I could have sworn that Heracross was Gen 3.
And I love Heracross! It was a shock to me when I found out
>>26678841
This is why I didn't like Pokemon Colosseum. Most of the pokemon you could catch were gen 2 pokemon you couldn't get in gen 3.
>>26678929
These tbqh, and I'm an eternal Gen 4 fan.
>>26678841
>Politoad
>forgettable
You can fuck right off the end of my dick nigger.
>>26678698
U wo t m8
>>26678841
Guys don't freak out but I think Gen3 might've sucked. You'll notice this one has some multi-colored mons. I should add that I would've thought Houndoom was Gen3 as well.
>>26679093
Sorry man, I don't make the rules, I just remember them with varying clarity. Disagreements are welcome,
>>26678841
>Kingdra
>Coulda sworn it didn't exist
>>26678841
>Kingdra and Politoad are forgettable
>Swinub believably from gen 3
What Pokémon games have you been playing the past 20 years?
I don't know about you guys, but I've played gens 2-5. Now, I'm not saying you're all retarded, but you've got me questioning it when you say Gulpin, a Pokemon with a high appearance rate on a nearly all-grass route with a rival battle on it is forgettable.
You're mixing up being shit tier with being forgettable.

My scaling was a bit wonky. I kinda lept back and forth between mon's, so some are rated by gen alone "no way __ was from Gen __!" and overall memory "oh yeah, __ exists, howw could I forget?"
Kingdra was the former, though to my credit, it's a trade mon that's not as popular.
Same for Politoed. Coulda sworn it was later gen. It and swinub felt like gen 3.
Only excuse I have is silver was my first pokemon game, and thanks to my shit memory it's murky to me, mixed in with gen 3 (first game I played competently) (spent a good while thinking the regi's were gen 2 for whatever reason).

I saw a picture of this a little while ago and thought it was a digimon. Had to look it up and was surprised.
>>26678841
>Houndoom more memorable than Tyranitar or Steelix
U wot, m8?
Literally my mom's dog.Older pokemon had character
