Rotom Pokedex thread?

So is this our new gadget for the next gen? It makes no sense for a pokedex to have a map. It could also serve as the menu, maybe keeping track of your pokemon and items.
I hope they don't butcher the Poketch in the Sinnoh remakes.

IMO this is something to try to make it look like Yo-kai watch (with the 'english' speaking wacky monsters you interact with) which I'm fine with, I just hope it doesn't mention when you haven't picked it up for a couple of years.

Because it tracks things other than pokemon. I thought that was pretty obvious. In no other games have we had pokedexes able to track humans and pokecenters. Don't you think that's a bit of a random feature to add to a thing keeping track of only pokemon?

I'm really hoping a few things for this.

1. There's settings for how often it will talk to you. This means it's great for kids just getting in the game, but can be almost turned off for more experienced players.
2. The only direction pointing it will do that you can't turn off is the location of the next gym in lieu of a rival showing up all the time saying so.

I'm all for features making Pokemon more accessible to young kids, as long as the option to not do it / turn it off is available for older players. Besides that, I think it's a cute and neat idea.

I know because bike sim is a bitch with those fucking messages popping up every minute.
