Perfect IVs

You can.
No one ever said it has to be any other way.

Personally, my IV autism varies from pokemon to pokemon. Some I'll be fine with just three perfect IVs, others I won't stop until I get all five of them.

Obviously there's no point in maxing a special attack IV for a physical attacker, but that's why you can only max out five stats out of the six (or it's very difficult to do all six; I forget which one).

I typically consider a pokemon "perfect" if he has all stats he'll use maxed out: HP; favored attack; both defenses just in case I need that little extra to survive an attack; and speed (unless they're an Gyro Ball user).

I just make due with the checker not mentioning the speed stat of my Avalugg at all.

Daily reminder that perfect IVs are 5 maxed and Atk 0 on any Pokemon without physical moves.

Two reasons, competitive interest and autism.
Neither are mutually exclusive.
There isn't a more satisfying feeling in the world than getting a perfect, shiny, properly balled Pokémon.
