Do you mean about those spiders? They actually do that in real life, which is pretty cool. All spiders in that genus (Cyclocosmia) have an abdomen that ends in a hardened disc and dig burrows to stalk their prey. The pattern of that disc depends entirely on the species.

Pokemon suffers from a lack of big angry dinosaur birds. A midgame cassowary pokemon that doesn't evolve kind of like skarmory in RSE would be awesome.
