Don't really care if I'm seen with a n3ds. DS flashcart is great for just nds games as everything runs natively.

My biggest gripe is how shit emulation is on it. Even with the n3ds most snes games still stutter. The saddest fact is that emulation for the 3ds for older games may never get better.

There's no point in developing accurate and optimized emulators for the 3ds architecture. Smartphones are more widely used, easier to code for (no fucking around with hacky assembly workarounds), and you can make money off emulator apps.

Honestly I would have never got a 3ds or played the current gens but when the arm9 loader stuff came around and modding became safer I went for it. Plus, free shit is always nice.

those "press to root" apps dont work in newer phones and sometimes they partial root that gets removed upon booting up, no thanks tho I tried rooting this piece of shit Note 5 and soft bricked it twice, while my galaxy s5 is happily rooted, I ended up forking the 6 bucks for Drastic which I didnt mind

Let me tell you about the worst day of my life.

I was out one day playing pokemon in the town centre on a bench on my phone. All of a sudden I smelt this awful smell, like stale urine and whiskey and felt warm moist breath on my shoulder and neck. Standing behind me was a tramp dressed in a heavy coat and a battered old fedora, he was looking at my screen. He opened his mouth to speak and as he did the stench of death crept forth from his toothless maw.

"P-pokemon." I replied nervously, hoping he would go away.

At this point I thought enough was enough so I stood up to walk away, but the tramp faced me and put his hands on my shoulders.
"Don't ye be running off, sunshine. What I have to tell ye is important and it will change yer life." He was clearly angry and as he talked small globules of tramp spit were firing out of his mouth like bubbles bursting on a glass of Iron Bru, one of then landed on my eye.

"What? Are you crazy? I just saw him, he destroyed my iphone and kicked me in the shins!"
"Calm down, kid," the policeman said, "There was a tramp around these parts about 10 years ago, but he got killed by a truck when it crashed into the bench he was sitting on. Pokemon Jock they called him, on account of the fact he was Scottish and used to play an old gameboy with pokemon red in it. Some say his ghost still haunts these parts, Stuff of nonsesnse of course, there's no such thing as ghosts!" The policeman laughed and went on his merry way continuing his beat.

The version of Drastic that Anon gave us is 2.4.0.1a. The latest version is 2.4.0.2a. And no, this one doesn't have the options menu fixed yet. Just tested on my Note 8 GT-N5100.

Yeah. I've played Platinum, White, HGSS and now White 2. Speeding it up (or slowing it down), double 3D model resolution so it doesn't look like shit, flawless performance, etc. It's an entirely different experience.
