The thing about subbing is that like it's the case with any serious hobbies, you have to treat it as a job, or you'll never get shit done. Fairly recently I had a single afternoon to sub a 60 minute long video that barely had a few seconds of silence, and was full of technical terms I was not familiar with. But I did it, and I haven't felt so productive in forever. The harsh reality is that translators simply need deadlines. And if you don't want them, or can't deal with them, then you picked the wrong hobby.

I do. It was exciting to watch Serena progress since her results felt more uncertain than Ash's. We knew she'd get the princess keys, but that's all we knew. We didn't know how well she'd do in master class, we didn't know how she would develop as a performer, we didn't know what kind of trials she would face. Well, maybe. But those humans don't seem to show much interest in actually using their abilities for combat, and I'm not sure if that would change without the mon proxies. Although most of the wars would still probably happen and then they might get conscripted, but I don't think they'd go full shounen tournament on each other.

Probably not, seeing how Ash had apologized to Serena in the previous episode and she welcomed him back and during the rematch Serena was seen smiling as Ash was doing well in the battle as a signal that Ash was back to his old self.
