Still it's disappointing to have an archipelago region with so few water routes
Im not saying they should have made it WindWaker style, but a water route between each island would have been nice

Yeah, it's pretty obvious the sea won't be surfable. You say "a lot of dumbfucks" are oblivious to this but I doubt it's more than three or four people. I don't see why this needs its own thread

Thank fuck to be honest though, surfing all of that would be an absolute ballache. At most, I could see them doing a travel mechanic whereby you get a boat or jetski or something late game so you can explore more at your own pace and discover extra tiny islands just outside the map. It'd basically be this games Soaring. I'm pretty sure that's what's gonna happen

As I said, it's not neccesarily COMPLETELY blocked off gameplay-wise - I still believe you will be able to sail or jet ski across it to find this games equivalent of mirage islands. It simply won't be HM Surf as we know it.

But I dont see lazy GF doing something like this, the huge sea between islands will probably be something we'll see in cutscenes only....

Maybe we'll get our own small boat, like Chrono Cross.
