it's pretty obvious that map is stylized as fuck. look at the actual in game map. notice how the starter island (the second from the left) is like 4 times smaller than the big island. the starter island is undeniably small, but the 2 islands to the right will clearly take much more time to get through and i'm almost certain the stylized map has left out buildings on the biggest island

yea that's the starter island. and E4 is more than likely not on the far right island. most people think that's where you catch the legendary and some other side shit. the elite 4 is either on top of the ice mountain or the artificial island in the center of the stylized drawing. personally i think the elite 4 is in the ice mountain and the artificial island is battle frontier. after the whole game being in a tropical setting, having the elite 4/victory road in an ice mountain would be a very cool contrast

The map on the right is far more accurate because its easier to portray, unless you do it completely from an above view, you won't get an accurate map of Alola.
