>Edit @ 14:34: In a special video on the Japanese site, the Pokédex lists the Alola Pokédex and the MeleMele Pokédex.
MeleMele is one of the islands. They have their own dexes.
There's five Pokedexes in this game. Presumably four for the islands, and one for Pokemon that appear across the whole region and aren't island exclusive
Logic says that MeleMele is the name of one of the islands. Sorry OP, no two regions today

there is 13/14 pokecenters tho

>and one for Pokemon that appear across the whole region and aren't island exclusive
That should be the National Dex.
>>26587671
Nah, National Dex includes Pokemon not native to the region at all.

And?
Games have more towns than just Gym towns.

Right. Like how there were 4 dexes in Kalos. 1 Mountain, 1 Coastal, the middle one and the one that displays what they all have in common. Oh, wait, that never happened.
They just shared a few pokemon with each other.
MeleMele is Hawaiian for yellow, apparently.

I'm not sure what you're trying to say here. This is clearly a new feature.

They didn't share ANY at all.
Friend safari obviously doesn't count.
As far as I can compare, I can see the pokeislands being inspired by the 4 ''main'' Islands of Hawaii.
