If it is Marshadow, I can see dark, dragon, fire, fighting as possibilities. And psychic, because the boxies are, and like them will probably have a similar cyber face. If it's based on an animal, I'd guess something reptilian

Marshadow is probably based on an eclipse, since there can be both Lunar and Solar eclipses.
I'm going with Fire/Dark as well, as it would trounce both Legends with that typing.

Yes, before the reveal.

The copyrights were filed anonymously, so no one assumed they were associated with Pokemon until after the announcement of Sun and Moon. The prefixes 'sol' and 'luna' sort of gave it away.

Six copyrights were filed: the two box legendaries, the starters, and Marshadow. Most everyone is assuming that Marshadow is the 3rd "main" legendary, sort of like how Rayquaza, Giratina, Kyurem, or Zygarde were.
