The Aspertia gym was outside, so there may be hope. Speaking of the Unova gyms, I loved how many of them doubled as another facility and hoq involved with the story the leaders were. It'd be cool to have a Dark-type gym that doubled as an observatory or a planetarium.

The only way a Dark Gym could work is if the leader of the evil organization or someone close to them is the Gym Leader. Would make for a nice reference to Gen 1, too. Lysandre would have been perfect had Flare not been a Fire-centric Team.

Dark-type is indeed called Aku or Evil-type in Japan, but remember that the series likes to subvert that. There are plenty of characters specialising in Dark-types that aren't jackasses in the least, like Karen, Sidney and members of the misfit trainer classes such as Roughnecks, Punks and Deliquents.

I want to see poison, dark, water, fire, ground, fairy, normal, ghost, steel or even a flying type gym. But ghost, steel, dark and poison type are the ones that urgently need another gym.
