If you do work on it more, I think the face tends to be more golden/yellow almost matching the rest of the body.

Sadly the resources I found made the face have the same tone as the body, separated by a black outline, so it looked pretty jank. If CD installs I'll play around with it some.

Yeah, it's supposed to be the same tone like you said. At some angles, the face ends up looking a bit lighter though. Klefki art seems to be a bit odd with artists often using a different tone on the face.
