My problem with adventure time is less autism and more ADHD. It tries to create a big fancy world and draws all these plot lines but then never fucking does anything with them, or completely forgets about them until a few seasons later when they aren't relevant any more. It also suffers from bad pacing problems.

I like SU more but it's still not great. The show does "long overarcing story but still staying episodic" well, and pretty much all of the main characters have gotten significant character development, but steven himself is just so annoying it's hard to enjoy the rest.

Seasons 1 and 2 of gumball were fantastic, with great jokes and even greater pacing, but recent episodes just keep falling flat or don't go anywhere. I hope it gets ended soon just so it doesn't turn into a walking corpse like modern spongebob or the PPG reboot.
