The episode in the anime where Ash sends Bulbasaur to Oak's lab to help Oak with some feuding pokemon, and then he ends up having this huge boulder almost fall on him. And the way the goddamn show does it, they show the boulder about to fall, it cuts to black and white, and a goddamn Bye Bye Butterfree esqued montage of Bulbasuar's time with Ash plays, and to a fucking ten year old, it seems like Bulbasaur just fucking died. And you gotta understand, Bulbasaur was, and is, my favorite Pokemon. So I was fucking stunned. I didn't bawl, but it seriously affected me. I teared up a bit. Then it cut to goddamn commercial, during which I had a goddamn existential crisis about my own mortality, again, at ten years old, before it came back and "Oh, Bulbasaur suddenly learned a move it was never able to learn before and escaped!"

That's the day I realized the anime was bullshit.

That one episode with the island of giant pokemon that ekans and koffing thought they were abandoned was sad

The episode where Ash, Misty, and Brock say goodbye. It was really handled well with the flashback, music, setting sun, and dialogue. They both leave while Ash stands there watching. I got teary-eyed.

Butterfree's goodbye and Charizard's goodbye got me teary-eyed too but not to the same extent. I knew Pikachu wouldn't actually leave so it didn't impact me much.

I love that Chimecho episode, just one of the few episodes that shows that James truly is a good person, just misguided. The track that plays during the goodbye scene does it for me every time.

I cried like a bitch at the end of Mystery Dungeon Gates to Infinity. Which is funny because while Rescue Team and Explorers's endings made me sad, I never cried during those. Might have been because it was a rough time in my life and losing friends hit a little too close to home. Plus it was like, 3 in the morning when I beat it.

Not cry, but the last episode of OS tugged at my strings. Not even a Pokeshipper, but it felt weird to see Ash separate from the group he'd been with from the beginning, and to see new companions join in the next few episodes.

I know I'm going to feel this way when XY ends too, because that group had a better dynamic than the past groups have had, imo

When I was in 7th grade I watched Pokemon Heroes over at a friends house. Being a huge Lati@sfag, the ending had me in tears. I went and cried in his bathroom afterwards.

I cried at the end of X/Y
never cried to anything pokemon ever before then, but that sing along song was really nice ffs. :c

Beating ORAS got me pretty emotional. I remember as a kid taking two days to beat the E4 and especially Steven, and I was shouting and just so happy to have done it.
Seeing the bicycling back home, and then remembering how I felt during my first adventure had me holding back tears. Is this how people felt after FRLG and HGSS?

Come on guys, really? This is the first episode of Pokemon that I actually cried during (it might be the first time I actually cried due to media period).

Also, when Bonnie has to leave Tyrantrum, I cried during that too. That scene was so sad and it pissed me off, what was the harm in the scientists letting Bonnie take one of the Tyrantrum, it wanted to go with her and they had a whole group of them. Fucking fuck.

Also when Ash releases Lapras. Fuck that noise, he actually had one of my three favorite pokemon AND LET IT GO.

I recently cried a tad listening to the BW/2 Champion theme. I have this weird thing where I get sappy remembering really climactic and cathartic moments. It's just a musical piece that's so ridiculously cool and friendly and epic and fun that I teared.

1. In Pokemon X/Y, when AZ tells us Floette's story.
2. In the first Pokemon Mystery Dungeon, from the climax to the end.

And if we talk about anime, I had some feels when I watched the Meowth episode about how he learned to talk. I like how anti-villain are Anime Team Rocket sometimes.

When I was around 8, I had played Pokemon Crystal for the first time
I thought Suicune was really neat and mysterious. It could run on water, that shit is the coolest to a little kid
One night I had dreamt that I lived in a world were Pokemon were real
Everything was mostly the same as modern day life because Pokemon were rare and elusive creatures, people could rarely see one in their life time
But in this world, when people died, they reincarnated as a Pokemon with no recollection of their precious life. Pokemon who died would be reborn as humans with no recollection of their Pokemon lives
Relatives/loved ones were able to know when they saw the deceased
In this dream, my mother had died in a car accident
After the funeral while my dad was driving my brother and I home, we passed by a lake
Standing on the water was my mother, who had reincarnated as Suicune
I started screaming for my dad to stop the car and ran outside to try to reach my mom
She ran away into the nearby forest, never to be seen again
I woke up with tears streaming down my face
This is why I get personally offended when people say they want to fuck Suicune

My 19th birthday I was dealing with several of my friends abandoning me (in hs) and really people being a dick. No one said happy birthday to me (except one person who I believe is genuinely benevolent, but he messages me on skype and I didn't know it at the time) and I was waiting in class. This class I was failing and would stop me from graduating hs. So, on a whim, I pull out my 3ds to see my 'mons (I just like looking at my collection.) I walk into the pokemon center to go to the PC and it says "Happy Birthday!" All cheerful and it's all pleasant... my fucking Pokémon game cared more about me than my friends. I didn't cry right then, but it was part of what led to me having my first panic attack that day. I fucking love Pokémon, but it goes to show that even something altruistic can be sobering and even harmful...

I was an abysmal trainer. Yet I kept on playing Pokemon and loving it. I collected the games despite being garbage. Then one day my Blaziken decided not to fall down once in my Elite 4 attempt in Emerald, even against the hopeless odds against Wallace and his water types. I finally got to see what this room looked like. First time I ever saw the credits. I was sobbing.

I also have crazy sentimentality with my pokemon. My Diamond was the game I putt the most commitment into and it's just full of friends I haven't seen in years. I ought to see how they're holding up.

Never really had a father growing up. My mom took me to see the third movie in theatres, I was super pumped. Wind up in tears the entire time Entei is playing dad for the girl. Wonder why nobody would do the same for me. Place Entei so high in my kids perception of Pokemons power, that I know he'll never live up to what I perceive he should be. To this day never knew what having a father is like, and Entei is the only Pokemon I have been able to bring myself to capture

When I put my dog down I was pretty inconsolable for a little while, but after a bit I began to not be as upset.
