It was among the coolest places in all Pokemon games. It bridged the gap between small town Unova and the mainland. Easily one of my Top 10 locations, right up there by Pinwheel Forest.

This is honestly what made Castelia City really amazing in B/W. A lot of it has been lost, but crossing it for the first time was really exciting and is easily one of my fondest memories of B/W. It's kinda like the same feeling as when you're flying over a major city about to land for the first time(especially at night.) Just walking through a gate and being in Lumiose was really disappointing and really soured the whole city for me personally.
