What about "Synchro Evolution"?

I think Megas hurt shitty Pokemon that need an evolution most. Even if a Pokemon like Farfetch'd got a Mega, it would always be passed up for better ones, since you can only have one per team. It's too bad Megas probably killed cross gen evolutions.

"Megas" didn't kill anything, GameFreak did. They listened to the backlash caused by gen 4 cross-gen evolutions and reacted accordingly.
