I like collecting things, and I like cute things a lot. So I like collecting cute things. It wasn't very expensive, maybe 1,000JPY? For Serena + a Pokémon.
I also draw, studied Art. Drawing my figurines helped me get at drawing better when I was a kid, I still like drawing today, I still like the figurines today.

Also, I'd rather decorate my apartment with cute things that make me happy than with other kinds of decorational clutter other people might prefer.

Well as I said, I got her in a Pokémon Center, so I don't know how to get that specific figurine online. I get my figurines from other series online though. Google for Treasure Japan, and then try to find her on Japanese sites like Yahoo! Auctions Japan (the Japanese eBay equivalent). You usually need a Japanese address to use these websites, but Treasure Japan does that for you, for a small fee. I've used it several times before, and I've never had a bad experience with them.

If that doesn't work, try getting them from Taobao (China) - MIGHT be bootlegged, might have a small defect, might be totally fine aswell though. There's a service website for that, too: Spreenow. Used it, liked it.

a) don't use English sites. They now it's not being sold in Western countries and make profit from that.
b) use websites that buy it for you to get them from Asian stores. But do read reviews first. I personally can say that Treasure Japan & Spreenow are doing their job.

It's definitely not very flexible. The quality isn't good enough for $170, I had to be a little careful sometimes so I'm not too rough on the joints, esp. the head. I mean, it's made so kids can play with it - durable to a degree, but not super functional for taking pictures of it.

If I really wanted to have it, I wouldn't want to pay more than $30 for it. It's 12cm by the way.
