Pokemon love battling canonically and alakazam is just really smart about it - however, IQ is more about connecting and using information in new ways, not to mention that fighting isn't exactly the most intelligent thing, maybe it doesn't use as much IQ in a snap judgment like wat attack to use

Machamp can move a mountain with one arm and it has four. It could also throw 1,000 punches in 2 seconds. I suppose if someone can calculate the force needed to move an average mountain and compute the punch/sec into the equation, we have a beast of a pokemon
