Parental Bond should only work until Kang hits 50% HP. Then at that point her baby is "KO'd" and she goes back to one normal attack per turn.

Bonus points if the in-game graphics can reflect this.

Parental Bond is literally fine as-is. Gamefreak's mistake was giving it to a pokemon with 100/100/100 defenses and sucker punch, power up punch, and seismic toss among other moves.

It's literally just a worse huge power if you literally don't have any moves like that, though, and then there is literally no reason for it at all. I guess you can literally argue breaking subs and doing literally 1/3 damage through it if the first hits literally breaks it. Unless they literally give it to a mixed attacker, I suppose.

It's essentially a 50% raw power boost with minor fringe benefits like being a pseudo-serene grace, a pseudo-infiltrator, going through focus sash, etc. It haves more benefits than a mere raw attack boost even if it isn't abusing outliers like PuP and seismic toss.

I could see a cool special attacking pokemon with like, ancient power and dark pulse for STABs that uses it.

That's not saying much. Huge Power is ridiculously OP on anything with respectable Attack. Meanwhile M-Kang has 125 attack and 100 of everything else but irrelevant SpA. It's overpowered on a such a Pokemon.

It might be interesting on something else though, something that won't be able to truly abuse it.
