Dogs are a lot more intelligent than cats and actually understand the difference between different animals.
It's been proven that dogs know that humans are completely different animals from themselves but cats have no fucking idea and think we're just giant cats.

Cats are very smart hunters but socially they're not as well developed as Dogs. My dog loses its shit whenever a cat that isn't one of mine comes into the backyard but pays no attention to my cats.
